A 50% loss requires a 100% gain to recover. A 75% loss requires a 300% gain. A 90% loss requires a 900% gain. The mathematics of drawdown is the most punishing in all of finance.

This is why position sizing, diversification, and not borrowing to invest are not weaknesses — they are SURVIVAL TOOLS. The Brother who avoids the catastrophic drawdown wins by default over decades.

When thou art in a drawdown, do not sell. The only path back is through. Sellers at the bottom NEVER recover. Holders eventually do. Buyers at the bottom become legends.
